As a mom, I love finding creative ways to celebrate Halloween with my kids! I wanted to make them something that was somewhat healthy, festive and easy to make! These adorable Mummy Granola Bars not only taste delicious but are also super fun to make with kids! Not only do these bars satisfy our sweet cravings, but they also allow for some quality time in the kitchen. Here’s how we made these spooky snacks!

Ingredients
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup nut butter (peanut, almond, or sunflower) We used peanut butter.
1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
1/2 cup white chocolate chips (for decorating)
Candy eyes

Items I Use
Candy Eyes
Ghirardelli Chocolate White Chocolate
8×8 Stainless Steel Pan

Step By Step Instructions
Prep Your Baking Dish by lining an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper. This will make it easier to remove the bars once they’re set.

In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, nut butter, and honey. Use a spatula to mix everything until well incorporated. If you’re adding chocolate chips fold them in at this stage. My kids love the extra sweetness from the chocolate chips!

Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and press it down firmly. This is a great step for kids to help with!

Place the dish in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow the bars to set. This is a perfect time to carve pumpkins or watch your favorite Halloween movie together!

Once the bars are set, remove them from the dish and cut them into rectangles. Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Using a piping bag or a zip-top bag with a corner snipped off, drizzle the melted white chocolate over the bars to create a mummy-like bandage effect.

Finally, place two candy eyes on each bar to complete the mummy look. My kids loved deciding how to place the eyes!

These Mummy Granola Bars are not only cute but also nutritious (minus the chocolate and candy eyes lol), making them a perfect Halloween snack. They’re great for lunchboxes, after-school treats, or even a Halloween party.

I hope you enjoy making these Mummy Granola Bars as much as we did. Happy Halloween, and may your treats be as sweet as your memories! Feel free to share your own spooky creations in the comments! I’d love to see how you and your littles celebrate this fun holiday!
