Cozy Apple Spiced Simmer Pot Recipe
There’s nothing quite like filling your home with the warm and inviting scents of fall. Today, I want to share my favorite recipe for an Apple Spiced Simmer Pot. It’s simple to make and perfect for creating a cozy atmosphere while you sip on your apple cider iced tea and enjoy some pumpkin bread!

Ingredients
2 medium-sized apples
1 orange
2-3 cinnamon sticks
1 tablespoon whole cloves
1 tablespoon allspice berries
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Water
Instructions
Begin by slicing the apples and the orange. I leave the peels on for extra color.
In a pot (a small to medium-sized one works best), add your apple and orange slices. Toss in the cinnamon sticks, cloves, allspice berries, and vanilla extract.
Fill the pot with water, leaving a little space at the top to prevent any overflow as it simmers.
Place the pot on the stove over low heat. Allow it to simmer gently, adding more water as needed to keep the mixture from drying out. As it simmers, your home will fill with the delightful scents of apple and spice. This is the perfect time to cozy up with a good book.
You can also add in other spices you love, such as nutmeg or cardamom, for a little extra.
I hope you enjoy this simple recipe as much as my family does! Happy Fall!
Safety
Always keep an eye on your simmer pot to ensure it doesn’t run dry!
