Creamy Sweet Potato Mash For The Holidays
Here is the sweet potato mash I make for every Thanksgiving and Christmas! When it comes to the holidays I love cooking my family a big dinner! I also love making sure I’m staying true to eating clean even during the holidays! My kids love these mashed potatoes.

Ingredients
2 pounds sweet potatoes (about 3-4 medium), peeled and cubed
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of Nutmeg
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon maple syrup
Parsley & Chives sprinkled on top
Instructions
Place the peeled and cubed sweet potatoes in a large pot and cover them with water.
Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and cook until the sweet potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
Once tender, drain the sweet potatoes and return them to the pot.
Add the butter, milk, and maple syrup to the pot.
Mash the sweet potatoes using a potato masher or blender until smooth and creamy.
Stir in the cinnamon and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Transfer the sweet potato mash to a serving dish, garnish with the Parsley and Cilantro and serve warm.
NOTES
This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated before serving. Enjoy your sweet potato mash as a delicious side dish for your holiday meals!
