Easy Halloween Treats: Making Mummy Granola Bars
I wanted to share a super easy and adorable treat we made using ready-to-eat granola bars! I also try to find healthier alternatives to everyday items and I love Made Good granola bars!
This year, I wanted to create something festive without spending hours in the kitchen. I thought, why not turn them into spooky mummies? My kids love hands-on activities, and this was perfect!

Here’s what we used
granola bars (any flavor you like!)
White chocolate
Mini candy eyes
Piping Bags or zip lock bag
parchment paper
We melted the white chocolate in our melter but you can use the microwave.
Using a piping bag, we drizzled the melted chocolate over the granola bars to create the mummy’s wrappings.
While the chocolate was still warm, we placed the mini candy eyes on top. My kids had a blast making their mummies look silly and unique!
We placed the bars on parchment paper to cool and harden. While we waited, we enjoyed some snacks and talked about our favorite Halloween traditions.
They turned out so cute and were a hit with the whole family! Making these mummy granola bars was not only easy but also a wonderful way to spend time together. It reminded me that celebrating doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes, the simplest activities create the best memories!
So, if you’re looking for a quick Halloween treat to make with your kids, give these mummy granola bars a try. I promise they’ll put a smile on everyone’s face!
Happy Halloween!
