How to Make Chocolate Covered Strawberry Mummies For Halloween
Get ready to impress your friends and family with these adorable chocolate-covered strawberry mummies! This was my first year making these and my kids and I LOVED them! They are perfect for Halloween parties or just a fun treat! Let’s dive into how you can create your own spooky snacks!

Ingredients
Fresh strawberries (1 pound)
White chocolate chips (About 2 cups)
Candy eyes
Lollipop sticks (optional, for easier handling)
Instructions
Wash the strawberries thoroughly and pat them dry. Make sure they are completely dry to ensure the chocolate adheres well. Insert a popsicle stick into the large end of the strawberry.
In a microwave-safe bowl or chocolate melter, melt the white chocolate chips. If using a microwave heat in 30-second increments, stirring in between until the chocolate is smooth and creamy.
Hold each strawberry by the stick and dip it into the melted white chocolate or spoon the chocolate over it. Make sure to coat the entire strawberry evenly.
After dipping, allow the excess chocolate to drip off, then place on parchment paper then put in fridge for about 30 minutes. After the chocolate has hardened use a piping bag and drizzle the melted white chocolate over the strawberry to create a “bandage” effect.
While the chocolate is still soft, place two candy eyes on each strawberry.
Place the mummies on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Let them cool at in the fridge until the chocolate hardens.
Once set, your chocolate-covered strawberry mummies are ready to be served! Arrange them on a platter or stick them in a festive bowl with floral foam and add dried moss to cover the foam.
Tips
Look for strawberries that are firm and have a good shape for dipping.
These mummies can be made a day in advance. Just store them in the refrigerator.
Happy Halloween!
