Ingredients
Bananas
White chocolate
Candy eyes
Lollipop sticks
Piping bag or plastic bag**: For drizzling the “bandages.”
Chocolate Melter (optional)
Instructions
Start by peeling your bananas and cutting them in half. Then insert one lollipop stick into the flat end of each banana half.
If you’re using white chocolate, melt it in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth or use a chocolate melter on low heat.
Dip each banana half into the melted white chocolate ensuring they are fully coated. Allow any excess to drip off and place on parchment paper. While the chocolate is still wet, place two candy eyes on each banana. Put your coated bananas into the fridge for about a half hour to harden.
Add a tablespoon of white chocolate into a piping bag (or a plastic bag with a small corner cut off). Drizzle it over the coated bananas to create a mummy wrap effect. Be generous and make sure to avoid the candy eyes!
Place the decorated bananas on the parchment paper and freeze them for until they are solid.
Once they are fully frozen they are ready to be enjoyed! They make for a delightful dessert at Halloween parties or a fun after-school snack.
Happy Halloween!
